The best time to visit Michigan is from May to October, with spring and fall being the most pleasant times of the year. There are lots of lakes and cool water in Michigan during this time, making it a great place to do outdoor activities. From May to July, the weather gets warmer. July is the hottest month, with daytime temperatures between 69°F and 89°F. It gets cooler at night, between 44°F and 59°F. With daytime temperatures hitting up to 80°F, August is a great month for fishermen. The fall season lasts from September to October. In September, the high temperature is 75°F, and in October, it drops to 32°F. Even though there are only 5 to 6 hours of sunshine a day during these months, the fall leaves are still a beautiful sight, even when it rains or clouds.
Activities to Do in Michigan

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore: This national park has beautiful scenery, with tall dunes that look out over Lake Michigan and dense woods that are filled with the sounds of birds. Sleeping Bear Dunes is a great place to spend time whether you're hiking through the dunes, relaxing on the beaches, or camping out under the stars. Take Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive for a drive along the park's beautiful views at Glen Lake Overlook, Dune Overlook, and Lake Michigan Overlook.
